Chapter 2

2.1–9 By judging others you judge yourself.

2.9–10 damnation and redemption are from the Jew first to the Greek (as Christ was a Hebrew) But God’s justice is righteous justice.

Chapter 3

3.22ff Both Jew and Gentile have sinned and both are saved through Jesus. There is no distinction. 3.27ff Justified apart from the Torah (works of the Law).

Chapter 4

4.1 ff Example of Abraham to show righteous apart from works (circumcision), but not apart from faith/faithfulness. 4.18 Abraham believed/was faithful to the promise he received. Likewise we should trust in Jesus who was raised for us.
