I was uncertain I’d like it, but found it fascinating.

Starts interesting (in the middle on an interview he comes back to at the end of the book), but then get a bit bogged down in details in early chapters before getting into some wild (but well-documented) nefarious dealings of the CIA, FBI etc.

Shows we weren’t told the full story of the Manson Murders, but does not develop an alternate theory (which he admits).

I found his reporting on his reporting interesting.

I would have liked to see more about his investigation 2011-2019 and the role of Dane Piepenbring.
