Jonah

Chapter 1

Jonah arises from his bed to flee the Word of the Lord, and decends, to the dock, to the belly of the ship, to the belly of the whale, to the belly of Hades.

Chapter 2

Jonah remembers God from the belly of the depths and prays.

Chapter 3

The sea monster spits Jonah out and he goes to Ninevah. Just like the mariners they repent, but Jonah is greaved.

Chapter 4

Jonah is upset with God because God is merciful.

God ends the chapter reminding Jonah about the innocent cattle that would be destroyed.
